Debauched Generation

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Matthew 23:33

Have you ever wondered or thought of the reason why Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God would call the people out as serpents, and refer to them as generation of vipers?

The answer is traceable to the old serpent of the garden of Eden who came to corrupt humanity bringing separation between God and man. “…. that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world….” Revelation 12:9

The original plan of God was for the earth to be like heaven, and for his glory to cover the earth as the water covers the sea. Man was created in the image and likeness of God but after the fall, man lost the righteousness and pure likeness of God. The Bible says, “…. And Adam begat a son in his own likeness, after his image…”  Genesis 5:3

This simply means the nature of God was replaced by the nature of serpent. Wickedness replaced righteousness.

In the beginning, there was no sin, and no evil or death. Imagine living in a world where every heart was inclined to the truth and each citizen adhered to doing the right thing with zero tendency to do evil.

A place where all residents speak the same faith language and respond to the same divine instinct susceptible to righteousness, holiness, godliness, and perfection. Can you visualize a city of absolute peace, harmony, and crystal transparency? Where hurting one another is impossible because of God’s true love in every heart, no greedy or over ambitious person who desires much more at the expense of others, a place where people do what is right without any persuasion or fear of arrest, where there is zero crime and perfect tranquility. Would you consider living there for a while?

That is exactly God’s will until the Serpent came to deceive Adam. Since the fall, the serpentine spirit took over humanity, corrupt his nature and soul, leading to man’s interminable depravity, rebellion, sexual perversion, and all kinds of evil practices.

The Serpent is a traitor, deceiver, liar, and destroyer. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them. Genesis 6:5-7.

God is calling whosoever has an ear to hear, to come out now before it is too late. Human hearts have been hardened, their eyes dried for lack of love and compassion. Wickedness is at its peak in our society, fear and terror run through the streets. People die daily around the world but where are they going to? The Serpent is cunning, tricky, subtle and elusive in nature.

The Serpent is cold-blooded and incapable of feelings of empathy and love, but capable of saying one thing and meaning another with his pronged tongue. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips. Psalm 140:3.

Dilemma of our Days

Today, the situation is worse than before as we are living in the end-time. Satan has bombarded the world with demonic activities and debauch practices knowing that his time is short. Many are lost in evil practices in trying to fit in, in the name of relevance, tolerance, entertainment, culture, and fashions. “Save yourselves from this untoward generation” Acts 2:40.

So dangerous to the point of confusion as many in our society can no longer discern what is morally wrong. Many shocking activities all around us are signs of the end-time.

The day I first heard about gender assignment, I was shocked to my bones thinking and asking, has God really given that work to man?

Do we really need God again? The song the world is singing is “What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?” Job 21:15

Churches are closing in thousands across the globe, over three thousand in America alone in a particular year. Young ones are decreasing in the pews while social club houses are jampacked. Pastors are resigning, some backsliding involving in scandalous acts, persecution is on the rise and fake religions are gaining more popularity.

The devil is busier than ever while the church is sleep in lukewarm-ness and sin. Love of many is wax as cold leaving the faithful few vulnerable to attacks, hatred and harassment. Many mega churches are filled with empty bodies as the Lord showed me in a vision, instructing me to pray his Spirit into them. Anyone claiming to be a Christian but has not totally repented of his sin and forsaken them, sanctified spirit, soul and body, is simply playing religion. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:11-13. The meditation of our hearts, words of our mouths and the contents of our character as Christians must reflect Jesus Christ. That is Christ in us the hope of glory. The Scripture warned us, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever”.

The Serpent, Satan, is biting so fiercely and disseminating destructive venom into people’s minds, body and souls. It’s time to look unto Jesus and call upon heaven for help. A soul in hell is a wasted, lost wretched soul.  Don’t let that be you.

Signs of the End-Time

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Timothy 3:2.

Examine yourself with all sincerity of heart whether you are in the Lord or in the world and repent now that you still have your being. Many failed to abide by God’s word, they often say, “I’m not convinced yet” Do you want to judge me? The Devil is deceiving you. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2Corinthians 6:14-18

NEED FOR PEOPLE LIKE JOSHUA

Joshua was one of the most extraordinary souls that ever lived, he served God uncompromisingly standing for what he believed, making himself a champion in the army of the Lord. He served his generation well, his life impacting them to serve God. Under his outstanding leadership he led his people through river Jordan to the promise land without sacrificing the true worship of Jehovah. He confronted Israel’s wickedness and keep them from worldly pleasure, immorality, and idolatry.

The Bible says, And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel. Joshua 2:7.

Where is the Joshua of this generation?

This generation calls for a Joshua in every home, church, and nation. Leaders and champions of the truth who will defend God’s word and live a righteous course. Come out of the world. Be the change you want to see. Positively influence others to serve the Lord walking in holiness and following righteousness. May God find a Joshua in you. The wicked walk on every side when the vilest men are exalted. Psalm 12:8.
