The True RANSOM

“…. Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom”. Job 33:24

Merriam Webster dictionary defines ‘Ransom’ as the money that is paid in order to free someone who has been captured or kidnapped. In the case of humanity, eternity and divinity, man was taken captive by the devil into slavery of sin without hope or remedies and none of us can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: Psalms 49:7. But God in his love gave us his own only Begotten Son. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16. Jesus Christ is the true ransom for mankind, the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Look up to Jesus and live.

John said, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29

What is Salvation?

Deliverance from going down to the pit of hell is now possible because there was a ransom. Jesus bore the penalty of our sins on the cross. He was rejected that man may be accepted, condemned, and died for man to be justified and live.

He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to God the Father except through him. (John14:6).

Therefore, salvation is a must to escape the horror of hell. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation….? Hebrews 2:3.

In this book we will define salvation as, ‘Deliverance from sin and its consequences by the power of Jesus Christ. A deeply satisfying experience, personal and real, when the spirit is resurrected, and the soul is regenerated as the mind is transformed and life is given to our mortal body by the Holy Spirit.

What must I do to be saved?

Somebody asked this same question out of desperation in Acts 16:30, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house”. We have only one life to live and the only way to escape the wrath and judgment of God is to come to God through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who bore our sins on the cross, making our salvation possible, forgiving our sins, giving us access to eternal life.

The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:13

Sin must be paid for and those who reject the sacrifice of God for salvation will pay for it throughout all eternity. Believe with your heart and confess with your mouth.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10. The only worthy son of God, a Redeemer, our propitiation who died in our place on the cross of Calvary, he came to set the captive free.

or there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1Timothy 2:5.

Reconciliation to God through Jesus is a must to have eternal life, therefore, accept Jesus Christ into your life and be a partaker of his life and eternal blessing. Fame, fortune, and popularity inevitably fade away. And the only thing that will be important to you 100 years from now will be your relationship with God. Friend, there is no better day for the salvation of your soul, neither is there any better time for your acceptance into the family of God than this very moment.

“You must be Born Again”. Except a man be born again, he cannot see nor enter the kingdom of God” John 3:3,7

Through putting your faith in Christ and trusting him as Lord and Savior you have as Jesus said in John 5:24 passed from death to life. Receive the love of Christ today, accept him into your life, let him be the Lord of your soul and enlist in the Lamb of God’s book of life.

He will change and transform your life and fill your days with beauty, grace, and glory. And as you keep on serving and pleasing him with your life, he will take you deeper and higher in his love and soon and very soon you shall see the beauty of his glory and live eternally with him who is ever faithful to all his promises.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keeps my saying, he shall never see death. John 8:51

REVELATION 21

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
